Biography
Paloma Valenzuela is a Dominican-American writer, director, producer, actress, and educator from Boston. She is the creative director of La Palomita Productions and the creator of the comedic web series "The Pineapple Diaries," featured in Latina Magazine. Her work has been showcased at festivals like the New Orleans Film Festival, and in 2019, she was recognized in Boston Magazine’s “Boston’s New Creative Guard.” Paloma won Best Supporting Actress at the Premios IRIS Dominicana Movie Awards and has collaborated with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She teaches at institutions such as Brandeis University and the Institute of Contemporary Arts Boston.
