Biography
Having grown up in Egleston Square, Jesse Winfrey has been writing for over a decade. Starting with spoken word poetry which he perfected during his teen years at Cloud Foundation, Jesse eventually began releasing his own Hip Hop projects starting with Violence Transformed in 2009. Most recently he's explored blending Hip Hop with Punk and Alternative Rock as frontman of the band Sweatshop.

In addition to supporting peers in the arts behind the scenes with marketing and promotion; I've worked to increase visibility for an underrepresented population of Afro-Latinx who's identities align with punk rock's grassroots subculture.
