Biography
Fernando Brandão is a Brazilian flutist, composer, and educator known for blending jazz with traditional Brazilian music. He has performed at renowned festivals, released five albums, and authored the book Brazilian and Afro-Cuban Jazz Conception. With a Master of Music from The New England Conservatory and an Artist Diploma from Longy School of Music, Brandão has won multiple awards, including the J. Pappoutsakis Flute Competition. Currently, he is an educator in Brazilian music at Berklee College of Music.
